Welcome to ****!
The day is set for Sunday April 26, 2015 at my warehouse / shop in Woodbridge, Virginia! I say "integrated" because there are participants from both GG and GJ (so I just didn't use "integrated" because it spells **** better)
Thus far, I have at least 10 members that have expressed interest, along with a bunch of local mechs that are interested in dumping some extra tools, and picking up some needed ones. (So don't bring collectibles only......if you have modern tools to trade, bring 'em!)
Personally, I'll give a little tease regarding what could be offered up for trade from me, given you present the right items in return:
***A Reed, a Wilton and a nicely restored Taiwan vise;
***Huot, SO, and Blackhawk top chests which I'm hoping are fully restored by the 26th;
***A plethora of my duplicate Bonney wrenches and sockets, as well as 20+ pairs NOS / in the box Utica/Bonney pliers;
***Tons of my duplicate Proto and Proto Challenger duplicate wrenches and sockets, extensions, wobbles, etc.
***Plomb DOEs, DBEs, combos and sockets
***Boxes of ALL U.S.A. made ratchets, sockets and wrenches from Williams, Wright, S-K, P&C, Herbrand, Hinsdale, Craftsman, New Britain, Fleet, Indestro, Mustang, American Forge, Billings, Thorsen, Giller, Kraeuter, Snap-On, MAC, MATCO, Husky and others I can't remember off the top of my head;
***Complete socket sets from Thorsen, Wright, Bonney (maybe
), Proto, Proto-Challenger, S-K (S-K Tools, Diamond logo, and Wayne), Easco, and others;
Our regular GJ "crew" will likely be getting the party started on Saturday evening with some "beef and brew" so if you're so inclined, bring a cot and pass out with us in the shop! Who knows, we might break out the poker tables. I'll provide eats and brews on Sunday but you're welcome to bring something "pot luck style." Burgers and dogs will be the order of the day on Sunday to provide a nice base.
I'll have a couple folding tables but you might want to throw one in, along with a chair or two. I have 10 or so folding chairs but you may want to ensure your **** has a place to land should you need it.
I'm hoping for a good attendance, good enough to justify making this an annual event so PM me with your "intent to attend," and feel free to post up examples of what you'll be bringing to barter with. I'll PM all attendees with the exact address as we get closer in to the event.
Thanks and I hope to see you there!
Todd
