I have to give a big thumbs up to Mr Heater and their tech dept. I realize that you have wait along time or wait for a call back, but they fixed me right up with the parts needed to get back online. Parts arrived in just a couple of days. Unfortunately, I needed to replace my circuit board since my ignitor would not turn off. Took only about 15 mins to replace and get back to warmth again.

My father has the Hot Daug, and has had a circuit board go out on it on average one every two years. He has now had 4 boards in it. The tech from the propane place replaced all of them, and warrentied the first three. I wonder what in the world is causing the failures?

I don't know, it is funny how many pepole have had problems. I bought my heater over a year ago, but they were really good about taking care of it for me. The board they sent me is just a little different in that it has a blade style fuse that the original didn't have. I would like to find someone who could repair the old board for a spare.

I think after reading all the problems with circuit boards, I am going to plug mine into a UPS (Battery Backup) and see what happens. Maybe steady, clean power will help them.

That's and interesting idea, I haven't had any power outages since going online with it. The wiring is done to code with plenty of grounds and I had no warning that there was a problem until I came home and found the ignitor just snapping away as if to try and start the fire when it wasn't calling for heat. My furnace gave me no start up issues at all when I finished installing it.
