Hey Garage Journal,

Quite a few of us over here at Griot's love the forum and have been following a lot of the garage builds on here. In fact, I stopped by because we are on the lookout for more inspiring garages to add to the Garage Ideas section of our website (http://www.griotsgarage.com/category/having+fun/garage+ideas.do).

Not only will your "best room in the house" be posted on our website for all to see, but we will also send you out a free Garage Care Kit if we choose your submission.

Details here: http://tinyurl.com/dbn3zg

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions. And as always...

Have fun in your garage!

:lol_hitti I don't think they'd want to see mine. Too much grease, grinding dust, and body filler on the floor. ---- Plus, my cabinets don't match..:bounce:

No fancy stuff in mine - just ideas I've picked up & a meandering footprint full of inexpensive ways to do things.

I got back from a trip this morning and decided to sweep and clean the garage. Nice warm day around here and I didn't want to waste it. After three hours of "Spit and Polish" this is as good as it gets -- :lol_hitti

It's small, but a "cozy" place to work --

Sorry - mine is not quite ready for "prime time" yet.

I figure another two more years and the interior should be just the way I envisioned it 3 years ago. I'm on the 5-year plan for outfitting and decorating my ASYLUM. It's been a fun road so far.

BTW, "Griot's Garage" has played a part in inspiring me to create a place like this. I have lusted over the products you offer for many years now. Keep up the good work.

Looks like a great setup you've got goodfellow. Can't beat a garage that actually gets used! Send over those pictures and the story of your garage. We would love to hear more about it.

Nathan, that car actually belongs to one of the guys at Griot's. Gorgeous car. If I was in the market I would try and pick it up from him. ;)

Thanks again for all the kind words guys. Keep up the great garages.

Derek...I have too many photos of the build process to post here....I usually tell folks to go to http://www.theautoist.com/garage-mahal.htm to follow my 'meandering build' & to see what's inside the garage...but here are some recent photos of the exterior:

Autoist's Garage is one of my favorites here a working garage that houses more vehicles from the Morris Garage than are currently left in England :D.

Cool, I knew it was a 914 just from seeing the A-pillar...naturally I have one too, otherwise I'm sure I would have just glossed over it.

Shopnut, I'm with you: "I figure another two more years and the interior should be just the way I envisioned it 3 years ago. I'm on the 5-year plan for outfitting and decorating my ASYLUM. It's been a fun road so far."

Personally, I am devoting 2 years to develop a 5 year plan to revise my 3 year plan for implementing my 10 year plan. I otta start buidling my garage in about 14 years.

Oh come on Nathan you would have not glossed over it. What I want to know is which product does he use on the roof. Never happy with how mine turns out.

Since he won't come forward on his own, I'll do it for him - Check out ViceGrip's. Been there in person and he packs a lot into his space.

Mine? Well I need to move more of my toys out to the barn before I even have room to take pictures.

I may actually have to take a photo of all the Griots products sitting in my garage that needs a make over! Maybe it would explain how speedshine loses its color??? I wish my garage was heated. In need of a makeover. Good thing I got a good deal on all the Gladiator cabinets at Lowes!:)
