I used to see their air tools quite a bit in the 80s/90s; I see them now occasionally, used at flea markets and pawn shops. Check out their website here: http://www.rodac.com/index.php?page=18&showlogin=1
Their "company history"; sheds some light on why we haven't seen their tools in USA for quite awhile...
Rodac International was founded by Mr Rodstein in America 40 years ago. The name Rodac refers to both the founder and the aircraft industry to which Rodac supplied its products. Rodac became active in the European market from a location in the Netherlands that opened afterwards. In America it supplied its products primarily to the aircraft industry, whereas in Europe the first contacts were established with the automotive sector and various other industries. After closing its site in America, Rodac continued as an independent entity in Europe. Rodac currently sells its products to companies in various sectors in 22 countries through an extensive international dealer network.
Benelux market leader
Rodac has grown significantly in recent years. The company is known internationally as a specialist in pneumatic tools. In the Benelux countries Rodac has become the market leader in the automotive industry, and Rodac is rapidly increasing its market share in other European countries as well.
Various commercial agents successfully sell Rodac products to local dealers in Germany. Sales in Germany increased by 40% in 2006. In order to maintain this growth and to permanently guarantee the best service and support, Rodac has established a branch in Germany: Rodac Deutschland GmbH. As in the Benelux countries, Rodac intends to create an extensive dealer network with national coverage in Germany as well. In all other European markets (e.g. Scandinavia, Spain, France, etc.), Rodac availability will be increased further in collaboration with local dealers.
These guys used to work for RODAC; they repair their tools and seem to possibly carry parts as well... give them a call, they might be able to help! http://isleofsmiles.com/?p=88

I remember buying Rodac air tools at swap meets in So. Cal. in the 70's. They were really cheap compared to the Chicago Pneumatic line at that time. They were nowhere near the quality of CP though.
I have one of those and the air chisel they offered. I bought them when I woked at an auto parts store, we were allowed to buy things at the store's cost. I have pullers, SK wrench and sockets sets, a Fluke digit al VOM, and a lot of other items I bought back then.
I love this line "Fejes Tools services and distributes pneumatic air tools to the wagon jobbers: Cornwell, Mac, Matco, Snap-On and independent tools dealers."
RODAC U.S.A. was a great company. They manufactured their more expensive tools (mostly body shop tools and high end pneumatics) in the US and also imported excellent mechanics air tools from Japan (later from Taiwan). Regardless of where they were sourced, if it's an older RODAC, it's a quality tool.
Maybe the air vanes are sticking? I wonder if you take it apart, clean, hone the cylinder and put it back together if that would help? Have you put air tool oil in the inlet lately?
I have a 501. Bought it in 1981, used, from a guy for $10. It was the first air tool I ever owned. It needed a rebuild then, but I used the hell out of it.
I now own a couple Blue Point and Snap on, and CP. I still have the Rodac. Need to call Fejes Tool for a kit.
Made a lot of $$$ with that old air ratchet.
