If it was USA made, why would a USA manufacturer not cast or stamp it ON the vise? I don't care what the box it came in said, that was made off the coast of California, WAY off the coast.... Just my opinion.

Thank you for the info; I did not realize it was china made. Not such the great deal I thought it was; but has held up well so far. Although, I do more wood working related/Light DIY stuff than real fabrication work.

Its so bad here in nw indiana I got a report that magnetic is being affected and pilots need to correct their compasses. I'm actually afraid to post my recent hauls because eoc may blow a !@#$%^&*()_)(*&^%$#@!

i been bringing a gem home average 1 a week lately.

I think parker made more 974's than any other.
