My wife just told me that there are three packages waiting for me at home: two medium sized boxes and one envelope. There should be quite a few tools for me to open, spread out, look at, play with, and start cleaning when I get home. The wait is killing me! :willy_nil:drool:

I'm sure some of you can relate.

I go nuts when I order/win a tool and it takes forever to ship. The worst is when the seller waits to ship!

I won an S936 on ebay in the spring and it was over a month to be delivered - apparently it was lost in the mix at the local P.O. Parcel post is also extra slow and not worth the savings!

Have fun playing with your new toys...I mean tools!

My "bosses" are all the kids in the classroom depending on my instruction, I guess. Maybe a wooden mannequin would fool them for a few minutes so I can step out early?

Yes, and then teach the kids how to "clean" the tools....lol
That's the first thing my kids are going to learn. :D

My dad told me that all of his tools and garage related stuff would be mine when he passes away, and I was like really I don't want people to fight over the stuff let them all have it and he said the reason I get it all was because of how I take care of my tools and things, which are spotless most of the time and always put back in place. Everyone else he said just trashes things like they are disposable and can be replaced like water. Also the only ones I would have to fight with would be my sisters, but still that was a nice thing to say, now if I can out live him is the question....

Bam. Some less desirable Taiwan Husky and one Blackhawk in here as far as ratchets. Extensions range from Snap On to Taiwan, same for swivels and adapters. Actually I think one adapter is Proto and the rest Taiwan.

All of this arrived today except for three ratchets on the left that I already had.

I'm still waiting on another eight or so ratchets to arrive and one breaker.

You selling that old Cornwell? And the long handled ratchet...now what is that?

btw, Bull, that looks like a very old workbench. What are the measurements, and how old is it?

I'm not sure about the Cornwell. That right there is the cherry that made me buy this lot. Most of the rest of the pieces are going straight to the classifieds after the Bull Treatment. It's the first Cornwell entry on the AA website:

http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/cornwell-quality-tools-p2.html#sockets

It feels really good and seems to ratchet well in each direction.

The long ratchet is a Herbrand S-9, in the classifieds now.

The workbench is something my grandfather built, as far as I know. It has been in the basement here forever...I'd guess at least sixty years old. Heavy as a bear. I put some cheap rink-a-dink casters on it at one time to make it easier to move.

In some pics you will see my super-bright blue walls. Please ignore them. The basement was a dank spider hole when I moved in, and to brighten the place up I painted them a crazy color after I power-washed the place so I would not be afraid to go down there.

The problem with eBay is that the prices tend to be crazy.

You know what you can do? Search all of Craigslist, find tools, e-mail person to see if they'll take Paypal, and buy. Paypal/credit card protects.:rocker:
