A while back I grabbed a larger Mac tool box for a decent price. Its in pretty good shape, just needs some TLC. My question is, how do I tell what model it is? It has BB slides on ONLY the top large drawer. I grabbed a can of the PB garage door lube and plan to regrease the sliders this weekend.

It looks identical to this one:

(Same as attached)

Oh and another good deal for another Portlander-

Thanks guys.

I believe it's made by Beach in Canada (I believe Stanley owns them now, not 100% sure though), what's odd is that the Husky versions I've seen had ball bearings on all but the small drawers (including mine pictured below). I've seen several Mac boxes of the same era with friction slides, seems the Macs would have the ball bearing slides.

Anyhow if you can't find a stamping ( check the bottom and down by the wheels on all sides) you can call Stanley and they should be able to get the info for you. I'm pretty sure the Mac comes with a lifetime warranty (the tools do, don't know about the boxes), I know the Husky does, they'll even send you a key if you don't have it.

Here is my Mickey Brand (Husky) it's made by Beach (do the drawers look the same on yours?), there was a sticker in both boxes in the lowest drawer, I haven't seen any other markings or stamping.
