Buying Materials in Portland, Oregon

Hey Gang,
I'm ready to pull the trigger and buy everything for my electrical upgrade. Should I get it all from a supply house like Platt or will I get better prices at Home Depot? I know this is a tough question, but I'm hoping someone has gone through this before here in Portland.
I'm replacing the service entrance to my home, adding a Main disconnect to feed the house and a panel in the garage. Need to buy 200' of #2, a few reels of #12, 30' of 4/0 aluminum, conduit, etc, etc.
I'm thinking of calling and getting pricing on wire and making the decision based on that. I don't want to bother them getting pricing on every last item.
What do y'all recommend?
Thanks,
Tony

I am having the same question bounce around the inside of my skull. I live the the Portland area as well...I think you can get better quality stuff from Platt or the like than from HD or Lowes, etc, but you will pay more too. I am after 12 4' 2-bulb T8 strip fixtures...I will probalby check with both types of resources to price out

I just called Platt on the wire and a few other questions. Seemed 30-50% higher on everything. e.g. #2 THHN is $1.44 at Platt and $1.10 at HD. I'll buy the stuff that HD doesn't have at Platt and the rest where it is cheaper. I wish 200' of #2 would magically appear on the side of the road!
