Here are some new Apex power and insert bits. All are 1/4" hex drive, all are new (except the nutsetters) and all are made in U.S.A. For those unfamiliar with these products, these are the best bits money can buy, bar none. Almost every major manufacturer in the U.S. uses these on their production lines.

I'm going to be selling these primarily as assortments, but there are a few items that I don't have enough of that I will sell singly, if you buy an assortment (or something else from my other FS threads). These prices include shipping in the U.S.

The assortment includes the following:
22 power bits.

13 insert bits.

How do you like their phillips bits? How do they last in power applications? Probably no bit lasts very long if you're drilling screws all day, esp. deck screws, or 3" wood screws, but I've been meaning to order Apex to see if they'd last longer. What do you think Alex?

IMO Phillips is not a good choice for power drive applications at all, but if you're going to use it, these bits are great. Torx or hex drive are just so much more stable by their design though...

No doubt. Nevertheless, these particular bits work very well. They fit the fastener better than anything else I have tried, plus they wear great and are very tough to break, even in the small sizes.

Yes, but for the price and convenience (at least for me), a 5 lb box from Home Deport of "gold" phillips screws is sometimes necessary for something.

I picked up a bunch of these (way more than I can use in the foreseeable future) so I could put together a set for myself. These bits are typically a pain in the *** to buy. The suppliers who sell them sell them in large bags, and buying them onesy twosy on Amazon or ebay gets expensive fast. So, I kept what I need and the rest is offered here. Check the prices for these on the internet, you'll be amazed how expensive they are!

Having said that, I would really like to move these, so I'll lower the prices 10% across the board on everything in the OP. $45 shipped for the assortment, etc.

If you buy them, and you're not happy with them, I'll buy them back.

^I'm going to be buying a bag of a philips from a Distributor. Let's compare prices when I get the bill. I'd be curious to see what you're getting them for.

Hello, I have a bunch of Spax wood screws that take a square bit. Do you have any of these in the square head drive style? Thanks

when I acquire it. seller is dragging his feet big time. If I can't get the stuff by next weekend I'll be giving up on him. No wonder the guy failed in his business, he doesn't know how to return a phone call or an email.

Just a bump. I got several bags of phillips and robertson bags from a distributor, and Apex has been top notch. Better than anything I've ever used. These are worth trying out just because I think you'll be surprised by the quality compared to most anything else out there.
