** No longer for sale**

Hi,

I have introduced myself elsewhere on the board trying to find out where a link to my website originated on this forum. Many hits on it from garagejournal.com. I only joined here yesterday, looking for a link but couldn't find one.

Well, I figure if this place is busy enough to send me hits without trying, imagine what would happen if I put in some effort. :)

If they were also a pilot, all the better.

And in thinking, it would be a lovely venue for car shows. Reason I say that is my friends used to host car shows each summer at their place here in CT. Tennessee property is very similar. Upwards of 40 acres. Here is a link to the old place for comparison. http://www.carsarethestars.com/photo-gallery.html

Well that was the old place, here is the new. One that is now For Sale By Owner.

Sorry I didn't include the price, as JohninCM writes, it is listed on the website.

Main reason I didn't list it is that it depends on what piece of property you are interested in. There is the main home/hangar... asking price for that is $539,000. That includes the runway. There are also two building lots, each priced accordingly and one recently renovated ranch house, listed at $299,000.

And of course, talking with the owners over coffee might show room for negotiation. It is for now, "For Sale By Owner." Without the looming real estate agent commission, there is more wiggle room. IF you know what I mean....... ;)

Best,

Tina

Hi, it's me again. This time I have something new to bring to the table....

the property owners are willing to offer $1,000 to anyone who brings them a buyer that consummates the transaction with purchase. That's better than Obama offers!

Take a look see here... pass along the link... and if they buy and tell them <your name here> sent them... that's a grand from their pocket to yours!

Not bad.

Haven't stopped by here in awhile. I do have some "good news." Price on the property has been reduced to $499,000. With mortgage rates low, and the potential for owner financing maybe the time is right to "own your dream?"

Thanks,

If you have considered owning this lovely home with a private airstrip I have great and potentially valuable news! Take a look back at the website. http://tinyurl.com/ownyourdream In the left hand column you will see a selection called: “Site Plan & Home located on Lot #4”. Click on that, and at the bottom you will see “Home on Lot 4”.

That house is still on the market. But the interesting news is; it has been leased! It is generating $1,400.00 per month income. Sure, you might think that is great for us, but think outside the box. Maybe you are interested in your own private airport but the monthly payments are a bit outside of your comfort zone. Wouldn’t $1400 per month added income make it a little more manageable?

With mortgage rates at their lowest, the possibility of owner financing AND rental income shouldn’t you take another look at Longmeadow Farm Airport?

Get approval from the little lady, get approval from the bank, come up with 100K more and we'll talk about the planes.

Take care,

Hello All...

it's been a long time since I stopped by, and again.. I'm here to hawk the property in Tennessee. There has been a change, there is more acreage offered.

Home/hangar and 30+ acres offered for $499,000.

If you, or anyone you know is interested, please visit http://tinyurl.com/ownyourdream for all the information.

Please accept my apologies for only visiting to update this listing.

Best,

Tina

Good Morning, Robert...

Guess that suddenly buying it was a "no go?"

The property is lovely, nice place for a pilot/pilot-mechanic to hang his/her hat at night. It is still for sale by owner, and thankfully there is an uptick in the number of visitors to the website. http://tinyurl.com/ownyourdream

Best Regards,

Tina

It's been a long time since I've stopped by to check on this thread.

Just wanted to post that the owners are most likely going to list the property with a real estate agent soon. I guess they're giving up on my ability to get the job done.

So, last gasp effort going out to see if we can find a buyer without having to bring in the professionals. Not that there's anything wrong with that....

Here's a link to the website once again:

Blue skies!
