My review on the SEVILLE large rolling workbench and standard bench

Hi folks.

I was in need of a nice workbench (fairly large) for my garage transformation. I was really torn between the Seville cabinet and the infamous harbor Freight toolchest.

If I was to go the Harbor Freight direction I would have purchased two of the bottom rolling carts and **** them back to back creating an island workbench.

I decided to go the Seville route. Cost for two Harbor Freight cabinets would have cost around $600. Thats with the 20% off and also having a coupon plus tax.

I purchased a Seville large rolling cabinet and a seperate standard workbench. I wanted to do the same application as what I had pictured in my head with the HF cabinets.

Anyway, for the two units I came out to right about $650. So, basically the same costs for either brand.

The Large rolling workbench is 77" wide and 20" deep. The standard bench is also 77" wide but its 25" deep.

I brought the cabinets home in 3 large boxes. The Rolling cabinet took me literally 3 hours to put together while the standard bench takes about 15 minutes.

Im really impressed with how easy everything went together. No missing pieces, all pieces labeled for easy identification, and fairly well illustrated instructions.

No scratches, dents, or dings as everything was really well packaged. The first time in along time Ive had such luck with something with so many pieces.

The longest part of the install is building all the drawers.

Anyway, the framework of both units is really beefy and has a powdercoated finish. Its finished in a med grey color. Matches my theme nicley.

The tops are 1.75" thick butcher block. Wow! They are sweeeeeeet.

The doors and drawers are stainless and aluminum. They are very nice and stout. Every piece of stainless was shrink wrapped, so that was nice to see.

The drawers glide nice. Not the best and nothing like a snap on unit but all in all Im happy. They glide equal to my craftsman tool chest with the "ultra glide"

The sides of the rolling cabinet has peg holes and I instantly found stuff to hang on it.

The wheels lock on the rolling cabinet and the feet are adjustable for the workbench.

Mine are backed up to each other and sit nice and level with one another.

Just wanted to give you all my opinion and experience with these products.

I gotta give them a solid A.

Heres some pix....................

I know, I couldnt find the bench either on the site. I had heard they had them so I just decided to go in and look. Sure enough right there.

I would suggest calling your store and asking if they are in stock, or if they can guide you towards another Sams that has them.
