Brand new Hazet 190 cantilever tool box from Germany.

The box comes from the factory painted Hazet blue and black. The box measures about 21" long, 8" wide and 9" tall when closed. The handle folds down flat against the top of the box for compact storage.

The tool box comes complete with a padlock and three keys. The lid of the box is embossed with the Hazet logo and "190".

This is a heavy gauge metal tool box made in Germany. Hazet has been making tools since 1868. That's more than 140 years!

The cantilever three tiered box is the best design in my opinion. With the two built-in trays you can see all your tools and don't have to dig deep to find what you need. The box is large enough to carry what you need on a road trip, but not so big that it gets too heavy for your girl friend to carry.

This design has been used by Hazet for at least 60 years and has remained relatively unchanged. When you get the design right, no reason to change it!

I have a limited supply of these boxes so act fast. If the ad is up, I have them in stock.

$125 includes shipping in the continental US. If you want to pick it up, it's $100. I live in San Marcos, CA.

Thanks

I've made up some key fobs to go along with the box. This goes with the 3 keys and padlock. The fob is stamped "Hazet 190".

Is any part of this box plastic? I google'd it to try to determine dimensions and came up with different descriptions. Some say all plastic, some say plastic and metal. I see you said it was heavy gauge steel. Is it all steel? Any plastic?

thanks!

This box is all metal. Hazet sells a plastic tote tray with a similar part number. This box is part number 190. It some times has a suffix like, 190/80 for a box with tools. Technically this box is a 190L. The L means it is empty.

HI Inky. Just a quick note to let you know I got the tool box yesterday. Shipping at the speed of light. Did you mail it via the space shuttle? LOL. The box is awesome and will be used to house my MB SST's which are now living in two other boxes and a 5-gallon bucket. Thank you, my friend.

Right on. The shuttle was out of commission so I shipped via SR-71.

Glad you like it and post up a photo when you get a chance.

Thanks to all that have bought a tool box from me. I have ordered another batch from Germany but with the exchange rate I will be raising the price to $135 shipped. I have a couple left at $125 so hit me up. I will be at the OCTO VW show in Huntington Beach, CA on the 24th of October and can deliver there with prepayment. $100 for a box delivered to the show. Thanks again, Inky

How much to ship to Ontario, L0A 1G0?

Thanks
Jonathan

Price shipped via UPS is $135 total. About 7 days.

Price shipped via USPS is $155 total. About 4 days.

I don't know what sort of custom fees you will have on your end. I mark the package with a $100 value. Thanks and let me know, Inky

Cool boxes!

I would very seriously advise against dealing with UPS as they are an international criminal organization specializing in shakedowns which they call "brokerage fees". Why they are allowed to operate in this country is absolutely beyond me. There is no way it will end up being cheaper if you go with UPS.

I'm quite serious. Search this site for "UPS" & "Canada" and see for yourself!

Thanks for the heads up on the UPS/Canada fees.

Some folks have me ship to mail box type stores in US border towns, and then they go pick it up. I guess this is also an option to avoid the fees if you are not too far away.

Most welcome. I learned the hard way & swore years ago I would do everything in my power to help put that ****** company out of business.

I Googled the words "UPS" and "Canada" on this site for anyone interested!

Yes, for anyone remotely close to a border town, I would suggest one of those mail box stores if you don't have any friends stateside. Luckily, I have a buddy in Ferndale, MI!

All $125 boxes are sold.

Because of the exchange rate the boxes are now $135 shipped in the continental US.

Thanks!

Hey Johnnybentwrench, Thanks for meeting up with me at the OCTO VW show last Sunday. It was cool meeting you in person and geeking-out on old tools. Thanks for the deal on the vintage Craftsman. I hope the old Simonsen box works for you. Thanks also for picking up the Hazet 190. Post up some photos when you get a chance!

Hi Everyone, I got one of these hazet 190's from inky and wanted to share it. I am usually not a cantilever kind of guy, but this box really kicks some serious ***. I really like the lay out! I use it for my German Machines. I have not allowed my craftsman raised panels in there yet and may never let them visit. I have not posted pics because there are to many quality U.S.A tools in there:headscrat now i need to start filling it with products from the Deutschland:drool: There motorcycles are built like tanks and last forever. I am guessing the tool box is built with the same german quality. This Tool box is replacing my 1949 Craftsman, That's how much I dig it:thumbup:
Thanks MR. Ford

JBW, thanks for the post and the photos. Nice bikes! Good idea putting the liner in the trays. I have some Orchard Supply vinyl runner material that I will cut up to line my trays. Thanks again.
