Steel prices -whats the rate these days ?

Hi guys, I am looking to price out a welding table top, and curious what I should expect to pay for 3/8 and 1/2 ?

I saw there are sheet in 48x96. I'm hoping when I go down to the metal place, they have half sheets that can possibly be cut for me. Curious what I should expect to pay for steel these days ?
