Very nice. Gotta love the UPS man when he brings tools. I'm waiting on a much smaller shipment myself. I'd Guess $3200

haha, I'm not really worried about sleeping, I'm more worried about what the wife’s going to say when she sees what I bought. You guy's are also really good guessers, it was right at 3k, and the only thing backordered is my FAR7200. So not bad seeing how my last order came in 5 shipments. Here’s a pic of my last order from about 3 months ago.

That's what toolBOXES are for

(for the record, I'm lucky in that she lets me buy whatever I want, as long as I get her copies in pink, when available :pimpflash)

I don't get the same student discount off the truck I get from the corporate rep. Trust me I rather buy from my neighbor who is a SO dealer.

All I can say is... you've got some of the best stuff Snap-On makes there! Congrats and enjoy your tools! :)

He-he, sounds like you not only have to worry about what the wife is gonna say, but also what the neighbor is gonna say. :)

Knocker,
You going to school their in Avondale? Awesome tool selection. If you need someplace to hid those tools from the wife I have a nice home for them.

OP, I am also a student and am trying to place an order through the SEP. You couldnt possibly get the discount on ALL those tools...right? I have the Snap On Student catalog and there is no discount on ratchets or picks or a bunch of stuff....

Go here http://www1.snapon.com/sep what I normally do is search snap ons regular site to find items I want and search for that PN on the SEP site. We don't get discounts on everything. I cant find the ratcheting wrench set he got. I ordered the blue point ratcheting wrenches because I couldn't find the SO listed on the SEP site. I did find a small set of seven SO ones but I got the 12 piece BP set.

Yup, I'm going to UTI in Avondale, finished my core classes and then went on to do the ford elective and now in 2 weeks shy of finishing my manufacture specific training

Yeah I got the discount on everything, there hasn't been anything I've brought to the rep that he said I didn't get an discount on.

On the ratching wrench set my rep pulled it up on his system, I never even heard of the SEP web site, I just take my list to him and he prints me off a quote.

I’ve been a little busy but better late than ever. Here are a couple more items that got delivered last week and also a peek of my box which I’ll post more of in the tool box thread. Hope you enjoy…

I love the box but your right it’s pretty full already. I chose this box because I thought it would have been big enough to start out of but now I wish i went bigger. Also I got the best deal possible w/ this box.I got it at my student discount, $400 Snap-On gift certificate and a certificate guaranteeing a full list price trade in valve w/ in 3 years.

So you got it at discount but will get msrp in return when you trade it in?
Will you have to buy the new one at msrp?

Just read the tool box trade-in certificate front and back and the only stipulations stated are I must use Snap-on approved Extended Credit and I can only trade up to a masters series double bank or triple bank roller or greater value. There’s no mention of msrp anywhere unlike my $400 gift certificate which states only good for products at list price.
