Walmart appears to have the 1 gal jugs of Delvac 15W-40 conventional at $11 right now.

The rebate offers $7 back ea, limit 5

That'd be basically $4 per gallon of Delvac. I don't think I can say no....

Walmart is not a participating retailer. They're also excluding Amazon.

I've used walmart and recieved the rebate. If you type your zip into the website wallyworld locations show up. Amazon is specially excluded.

I bought 5 jugs today at WM. It was still priced at $12.47 on the floor but rang up $10.97. I had an issue with some Brakleen that was also on Rollback on the website but did not ring up correctly at the register. Convincing them that they honor their website was near impossible - - on the Brakleen

ANYWAY, if anyone has it ring up $12.47 at the register and it's still showing $10.97 online, print THIS:

There's lot of situations out there where people have received the rebate check from a Walmart purchase and even emailed Mobil asking if Walmart was or was not included. You should be good to go! :thumbup:

I do not know about Amazon.

Nah, they've now SPECIFICALLY excluded Amazon in writing. Walmart is not mentioned either way. Perusing the much longer Mobil 1 thread, Mobil has stated they'll basically honor it for any retailer BUT Amazon when people have asked about Walmart.

We'll see if this still holds true, I submitted my rebate last night. I'm saving my receipt and if they deny my rebate I'll almost surely just return the oil. It's unlikely I'll even use it within 8 weeks, and most people state they receive their checks 8 weeks later.

Walmart works. I have been using the rebate for the past two years with no issues.

As far as returning the oil. Most places have a 30 day return policy, so check the policy wherever you pick it up from. The rebate takes forever to receive, but it does eventually come.

Quoting myself.....my $35 rebate came in today from my purchase of Delvac at WM. Even though I realize this has been confirmed repeatedly before, Mobil will honor WM receipts.

I think it’s still $11/gal at WM so subtract $7 per gal and it’s a great buy on 15W-40 dino

Yeah I posted in the other thread that I just got my rebate the other day. I buy the Delvac for my diesel... It comes out to $5 a gallon after taxes & rebates...

This. I use walmart every time.

It doesn't say you can't use walmart or that you can use walmart, it says you cannot use amazon. But walmart works fine.
